I booked the company to clean my sofa  beginning of September. Following the clean, I noticed damage to my flooring which had not been there before (bubbles all over my laminate).
The sofa was also left extremely wet and took around a week to fully dry despite saying 4-8 hours and to put cushions outside (it was raining). Following this, it developed an awful damp smell and there were noticeable changes to the softness of parts of the sofa from being wet for so long.
I raised both of these issues with the company and there was a lengthy period of correspondence trying to reach a resolution.
I was disappointed with how the situation was handled, like being accused of exaggerating the damage then told me the damage was there prior to the clean instead of being apologetic. They also stated they were fully insured but then in the next email said they weren’t so he very careful before booking as they do not have insurance like their bio states.
Eventually (after weeks and weeks) the company offered £500 towards the flooring as a final contribution. I have accepted this as a compromise simply because I wanted to bring what has been a very stressful few weeks to an end although my new floor is £1200 and I’ve got a crusty sofa I’ve had to just cut my losses on this one.
I hope if this was to happen again they would approach the situation with greater consideration for the customer.
I am sharing my experience so that anyone considering using the company can make an informed decision I hope they don’t continue to get away with coming into people’s homes and not respecting it.
